What we found
The plumbing fault

New Year’s Eve emergency flexi-hose leak in Kirby Muxloe
AFS responded to a New Year’s Eve emergency plumbing call-out in Kirby Muxloe after a flexible tap connector split where it entered the tap.
What AFS did
Diagnosis and repair
We isolated the water supply to the affected tap and made the plumbing safe. Once the immediate risk was controlled, we returned the following day and installed a suitable replacement connector without leaving the new hose under damaging tension.
