Leaking bathroom basin pipework repaired in Broughton Astley
Leaking pipework beneath a bathroom basin in Broughton Astley allowed water to damage the ceiling below.
What AFS did
Diagnosis and repair
AFS located the fault, removed the failed connections and fitted new flexible tap connectors together with new isolation valves. The repaired pipework was then tested for leaks.
Useful guidance
What to watch for
Accessible isolation valves make future maintenance safer and faster because the individual basin can be shut off without unnecessarily isolating the whole property. The eligible customer also received the AFS OAP discount.
