How AFS uses enquiry information

When you call, email or message AFS Plumbing & Heating Ltd, we use the information you provide to understand your enquiry, arrange and carry out work, provide quotes or invoices, keep appropriate business records and respond to follow-up questions.

Information you may provide

This can include your name, contact details, job address, photographs, property or fault details, appointment information and payment or invoicing records. The quick enquiry form prepares details for you to share. Selected photographs remain on your device until you choose an app and send them; they are not stored by this website.

Enquiry-source information

The site can temporarily remember campaign labels in your browser session, such as whether a visit came from Google or another advert. That label may be included in the message you choose to send so AFS can understand which marketing produces enquiries. No advertising cookie is set by this feature.

Google Analytics

If you choose “Accept analytics”, Google Analytics measures page visits and interactions such as clicks on AFS phone, WhatsApp and email links, and when a quick job enquiry is started. This helps AFS understand which pages and marketing sources lead to genuine enquiries. AFS does not send the name, phone number, postcode or job details entered in the enquiry form to Google Analytics.

Analytics storage is denied unless you accept it. You can instead choose “Continue without” and use the website normally. Your choice is saved in your browser and can be cleared by removing this site’s stored data.

Sharing and retention

Information is only shared where needed to deliver the service, comply with the law, run the business or protect legitimate interests. Records are kept only for as long as reasonably required for those purposes.

Your choices

You can ask what personal information AFS holds about you, request a correction, or raise a concern by emailing afsplumbingandheating@gmail.com.
