What we found
The old electric shower was no longer maintaining a steady water temperature, making it uncomfortable and unreliable to use. Choosing a replacement also required care so that the new unit was appropriate for the existing shower arrangement.
What AFS did
AFS talked the customer through the replacement process, checked the proposed shower and arranged a next-day appointment. We removed the old unit, installed the new electric shower and tested the water flow, temperature controls and operation before completion.
Useful guidance
We advised the customer to use the handset and hose supplied with the new shower. A different shower head can restrict the intended water flow and affect performance, so the manufacturer's instructions and supplied components should be followed to reduce the risk of damage or guarantee problems.
